First week at care.

It's been hard week dropping you at Ashley's house each day. Iv missed you lots and my class has been very naughty and not very enjoyable.

Granny has been checking in on you and sending me photos and messages letting me know your ok. 

Ashley tells me that you love playing with the other 2 girls and you are always trying to crawl after them. One day you ended up at the front door because you have only mastered backwards.  

You have had great sleeps and so far been very well behaved. 

This week you have cut through both if your bottom teeth one on Tuesday (23.7) and one Thursday (25.7). You have been a bit crabby because of this. Mummy is sad she is missing all these milestones. Please don't start crawling without me around. 

Please don't grow up too fast bubba! 9more weeks and we can hang out again!

My First Playgroup

Thanks Granny for taking a video of me at playgroup.  I had lots of fun with all the toys and at Ashley's house.

Your first day in care

Your mum has been dreading this day for the last couple of weeks. Today we both had to go to work which means you had to go into care. We made sure to pack you lots of stuff that you would like like your favourite toys and teddy. We even put in a blanket so your bed would smell similar. Before we woke you up this morning mum had tears because she loves you lots and will miss you every day. Oh and I guess I'll miss you too. It's my job to pick you up after school today.

First Day in Care

Poppa day care.

Mum had to work this morning and everyone was busy to you went to poppa day care.

I think they use ice cream in this once.

The day Dad has been waiting for..

Today is 16th July and Dad went out for a run at the crack of dawn... Emily you were trapped in bed as Mum wanted to snooze - also note it is FREEZING today and it is very rude of you to make mum get out of bed before 7am.  As your patiences wore thin you began to call out; "Mum, mama mama mumm mama mama..." and then this happened...

Thankfully you Mother is awesome and caught it on film to show your Dad when he got home - freezing cold and having a slight asthma attack.  Nothing good comes of running he should know that by now.  

p.s please note your dad 'says' it is your first word but remember that you said Mama 2 months ago on mothers day! note video evidence in previous blog.

I love to eat

It's school holidays so dad is playing with me lots today. I love my daddy. He gives me yummy good to eat. 

Mummy always wipes my face and stops me from making a mess. Big mess means big yumminess! Daddy lets me munch on bananas and rusks and he doesn't care when u accidentally spill bits in my clothes or floor. 

I love my food and I love you daddy!

Love from mittens

You love your kitty cat and so far she has been a bit weary of you- unsure of what you are and why you are stealing her spot in the bed. 

Finally she has come around to you and you are obsessed with her! You hands twitch and beg her to come close for a pat! You stroke her and love running your fingers through her fur. 

Emily loves mittens and mittens is learning to love Emily.

Hungry BIG Caterpillar

For sleeping through the night my darling girl, we brought you a 3m caterpillar! It's soooo big! 

It's great and has helped you heaps with learning to sit up by your self.
